Valentine's Day Crack Fic
Feb. 13th, 2009 10:00 amAt first, Jonouchi found it hysterically funny. His little buddy rather shy at the best of times, seemed ready to spontainiously combust under the unrelenting assault of shrieking fangirls bearing tons of candy,sappy love poetry and gifts of a more "intimate" nature. And Bakura, while not quite as famous as the "King of Games", had had his own legion of fangirls since transfering to Domino High School, and was suffering similar torments.
Nonetheless, it seemed that Yugi and Bakura would escape at the end of the day suffering no more than terminal mortification. Unfortunatly, as the gang was preparing to leave the school, a more dangerous factor had emerged; the arrival of the outraged boyfriends of said fangirls! And in accordence with some aggravating law of nature, these just HAD to be the biggest and meanest guys in the whole school.
Jonouchi, Honda, Anzu and even Hanasaki tried their best to shield their friends and get them out the doors, but they were badly outnumbered and swept away by the unruly mob. Too far away to help, but stiil close enough for Jonouchi to spot the flashes of light that warned of the arrival of a pair of Item Spirits. Spirits who had no intention of allowing their hosts to be torn limb from limb...
As shadow manifistations went, it could have been ALOT worse! Compared to what they had seen at Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, a few dozen kuribohs, Jowgen the Spiritualist, three biblical plagues, and the Trinity Irish Dancers was pretty mild going for either spirit. And it was enough to empty the corridors and allow them to search for the missing bishonen.
The trail of trampled boxes of candy, abandoned backpacks and what looked like clumps of Bakura's hair, finally led them to the janitor's closet. The Spirits were still in control, but too traumatized to object as the gang gently led them out of school, pausing only to remove the d-cup bra that had been stuffed down the front of Yugi's shirt, and the matching lace panties clenched in Bakura's fist.
All in all, they had had quite enough of Valentine's Day...
