"Too late now, they're about to start. watch carefully when she turns on her dueldis-THERE, you see?"
"Damn! This is NOT good!"
To make matters worse, she played a defensive style that dragged the duel out to almost an hour before she had the win. Jonouchi and Honda could see she was barely staying on her feet. One more duel like this and she'd end up in the ER or worse.
Finally the duel ended and the crowd thinned out enough for them to catch up with her, just in time to catch her as her knees buckled.
"Whoa! Easy lady, we got ya! Honda, the first aid station's around the corner, lets get over there."
Fortunatly, they were able to convince the nurse on duty that their "friend" just had a touch of heat exhaustion. Some water and an ice pack revived her enough for her to be aware of her surroundings.
"Thank's so much guys. Must have been hotter then I realized. Never got this worn out with tabletop dueling."
"That explains it. You don't duel like you're new at this." Jonouchi said. "This is just the first time using a duel disk?"
"Yeah, some of my friends pitched in to get it for me for my birthday."
"Got some great friends. Um, do you feel up to going outside a sec? There's something you should know about these disks. Now, watch what happens when I press this button." The holo-emitters shot out and landed at opposite ends of the street. "See, if you set those up when you start the duel, they create holographic images of the cards. That way, you won't have to wear yourself out summoning REAL monsters..."
